Terms of Electronic Services

Effective: 29 August 2026

These Terms govern use of metruno.me, a browser-based metronome and rhythm-training service. They are made available before use and may be saved or printed from your browser.

1. Service provider

SylDev Sylwester Bontur
ul. Księcia Józefa Poniatowskiego 17/44
37-450 Stalowa Wola
Poland

Electronic contact and complaints: syldev.it@gmail.com.

2. Services and scope

metruno.me provides four interactive practice modes: Metronome, Tempo increase, Tempo change, and Subdivision training. The service generates audible rhythm locally through browser audio features and displays related practice controls and timing information.

The service is currently free, does not require an account, and does not offer payments, subscriptions, user uploads, or cloud practice-history storage. The service is intended as a musical practice aid and is not medical, hearing-protection, or safety-critical equipment.

3. Technical requirements

To use the service you need:

  • a current browser with JavaScript and Web Audio API support;
  • a device with a working audio output;
  • an internet connection to initially load the application; and
  • browser settings that do not block functionality required to run it.

Browser and operating-system restrictions, power-saving modes, audio routing, device latency, or denied permissions can affect playback, wake-lock behavior, and availability.

4. Formation and termination

The agreement for the electronic service is formed when you open the application and begin using its functions after these Terms have been made available. It is concluded for the duration of use.

You may end the service at any time by stopping playback and closing the page or browser. You may remove the optional language cookie through browser settings. No account cancellation is needed.

5. User obligations

You must:

  • use the service lawfully and without infringing third-party rights;
  • not supply unlawful content or attempt to introduce malicious code;
  • not disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass service security; and
  • respect applicable copyright and technical restrictions.

Access may be limited when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or infrastructure, or to comply with law.

6. Software, data, and online risks

The application runs JavaScript and Web Audio code in your browser; it does not require a browser extension or install separate software. After you actively select a language, it stores one first-party cookie so a later visit to the bare domain can return to that language. Appearance and expanded-interface choices remain only in page memory. More detail is provided in the Privacy Notice.

Ordinary internet risks include malicious websites, phishing, compromised devices, unsafe extensions, and interception on untrusted networks. Keep your browser and operating system updated, use the official metruno.me domain, and do not install software presented by unrelated sites as necessary for metruno.me.

7. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a reliable service but may perform maintenance, correct faults, change features, or suspend access for security or legal reasons. Continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

Protect your hearing and choose a safe volume. You remain responsible for your device, environment, and use of practice information. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

8. Intellectual property

The application, interface, software, graphics, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale, or distribution beyond what mandatory law allows.

9. Complaints

Send complaints to syldev.it@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify the issue, when it occurred, the browser and device involved, and the outcome you request. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

We will respond to a consumer complaint within 14 days of receipt, unless a different mandatory deadline applies. The response will be sent by email or another durable medium to the contact details provided with the complaint.

10. Privacy

Information about technical data, Cloudflare, international transfers, device storage, retention, and privacy rights is in the Privacy Notice.

11. Changes, language versions, and applicable law

We may update these Terms when the service, law, provider details, or technical requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page. Changes do not affect rights acquired before they take effect.

These Terms are available in English and Polish, and both versions are intended to convey the same rules. The Polish version applies in relations with Polish consumers. For other users, the English version is the reference version, without limiting mandatory rights or rules concerning the language of the contract.

Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their habitual residence. Disputes may be brought before a court competent under applicable law.
