Four ways to practice with your instrument

Metronome

Build the click around what you actually want to practice. Set any time signature and choose rhythmic values from whole notes to 32nd notes, including triplets and other irregular subdivisions. Add swing and accents when needed, whether you are working on a basic pulse or a very specific rhythmic subdivision.

Tempo increase

Set a starting tempo, target BPM and how many bars should pass before the next increase. The tempo can rise by as little as 1 BPM at a time, letting you work at each speed for as long as you need without stopping to adjust the metronome. A simple, measurable way to build speed gradually while keeping your practice consistent.

Tempo change

Practice moving between two different tempos without stopping. Set Tempo A, Tempo B and how many bars should pass between each change, then let metruno.me alternate between them automatically. Useful for working on tempo changes in music as well as exercises that require precise transitions between slower and faster playing.

Subdivision training

Keep the tempo fixed while changing the subdivision of the beat. Move between any two rhythmic values, for example eighth notes and sixteenth notes, triplets and quintuplets, or more complex subdivisions, and practice the change without losing the underlying pulse. Especially useful for sudden bursts of faster playing, rhythmic precision and developing control at higher speeds.
